Cravings are hard to kill and as I passed by the busy food avenue of Oshiwara, I happened to notice this miniscule outlet , beautifully decorated and quite attractive. Stepping in was the best decision I had made, because that’s when I discovered Mumbai has a Ministry of Waffles and Pancake. I mean ever thought of an approved waffle or pancake? Sounds bizarre doesn’t it. Well this newly opened outlet has its freshly prepared waffles and pancakes also delivered to your door step. Being completely blown away by their varied menu consisting of amazing number of flavors, I was ready to indulge my self in some good crispy waffles and fluffy pancakes.
To briefly describe it, the menu had waffles and pancakes categorised into classic, ministry special and some flavorful milkshakes and coolers. From Belgian chocolate , maple syrup to caramel flavours, you name it and the menu had it all. Well, being such a chocolate person, the Choco Brownie Waffles is something I decided satisfy myself with.
The brownie crumble and slices over the freshly prepared chocolate waffle is one of their specials and mind you it was incredibly tasty. The crumbles just made every bite delectable. Mini pancakes are just too cute don’t you all think so? The Ministry Pancake Platter lets you choose any two flavour varieties available amongst which I tried out the KitKat and Oreo overload. Gosh! They were perfectly fluffy , soft and the flavors entirely enhanced their look and taste. Their Kulfi and Mango Cheesecake milkshakes are bang on the best and a definite must try.
If you’d ask me, this is one dessert parlour I would give a heads up to not only in terms of their desserts but also their quick and modest service. So why the wait readers? If you are in Mumbai and haven’t tried out their stuff yet then get going already! It’s worth it all.
